Man oh man do I suck sometimes. I was so excited for the Christmas swap, got the stuff all ready, and being my usual spazzy self, I completely forgot to take pictures of what I sent and what I received. So here are pictures of the loot like a month later haha. Luckily, my partner was not nearly so spazzy as me. The absolutely lovely Chelle from The Adventures of Mr. Superman and Mrs. S who is in my opinion an milspouse rock star was my partner. She's absolutely awesome, and I think everyone should follow her :) and tell her I say hi!
So let's start with what I sent her. Let me again say that this is me ninja-ing pictures from her post because I was way too spazzy and excited to take my own.
and this is what she sent me. Personally, I think I *might* have gotten the better half of the deal. I suck at shopping, so, yeah.....sorry doll, I did my best :) Sailorman can attest to how much I just fall a bit short when it comes to present time. I make up for it by being an awesome cook. His words, not mine lol.
Let me just say that because I was once again, a spaz, seeing a theme yet?! I completely forgot my makeup in San Francisco. I had to make an emergency trip to sephora as soon as I hit Virginia Beach. Let me just say that on the way to Kansas City that hand sanitizer was a lifesaver! Oh, and Sailorman stole the handsoap for his kitchen :( I was the good fiance and let him, pretty much because well, it was desperately needed in the kitchen haha. So was that amazing sugar scrub! VA and MO gets my skin dry! Mrs. S, how did you know exactly what to put in that box? Once again, you rock!

Being Sneaky
I'll admit, sometimes I'm sneaky with Sailorman. Not in a bad way, ok well that's debatable. He'd probably think that what I'm about to share with you is bad mwahaha.
As we all know by now, I'm from San Francisco. That means quite a few things, and yes, I do live up to the stereotype, sometimes. I consider myself to be slightly left from the center when it comes to most political matters, and this is in no way going to become a political debate. I'm a great believer in cool, that's what you believe, I believe something else, let's just get on with our lives now. That being said:
What I wanted to say what that, I like organic, sometimes vegan food. I enjoy it. I have fun trolling raw vegan blogs and getting ideas from them. I have fun looking up the recipes and thinking "oh I could totally do that" or "I wonder if that even tastes any good" well......I played a trick on Sailorman. My mom had some avocados laying around that NEEDED to be used. I'm a huge fan of Averie over at Love Veggies and Yoga and she has an absolute amazing recipe for a 5 min vegan chocolate mousse. Click Here for the link! It's four ingredients, it's done in minutes, and it tastes absolute decadent. What amuses me even more if the fact that Sailorman made it a point to ask me if the mousse was in any way vegan or healthy. I admit I lied and said of course not sweetheart. He then said sure, I'll taste it. I gave him a spoonful and he said it was the best thing He'd ever eaten! Yay for sneaking him good for him food :) Here's a pic of my finished product. It was sooo rich, you'd never know that it wasn't full of dairy and bad for you fats!
yum yum yum! I really do hope that you drop over at Averie's blog and check out her amazing recipes.

Oh, another thing I forgot to mention!
Sailorman is down in Paso Robles for his last class thingy before the Big D. Paso is about 3 hrs away from San Francisco. So as sad and bummed as I was that I missed out on 10 extra days with him, guess what? I'm down here in Paso with him! I'm in our (his) hotel room while he's off doing squirrely things during the day. I get to fall asleep next to him, I get to be half awake before he leaves and I get a good morning kiss everyday! It's been pretty blissful. Yes, we've had some rough patches, because well, what couple doesn't? However, it's been perfect! Not to mention a vacation for us on the Navy's dime. Hopefully he gets back early today so we can hit up Hearst Castle! I'll try and remember to post pictures of this bonus time at a later date!
