My Military Child

Since April is the month of the Military Child, I thought it would be fitting to "interview" our baby: Mickey Finn.

As you can see, we don't have a human baby lol. Sailorman and I have both decided that we are in no way ready for kids, and we're more than happy with dealing with our furbaby for now.

And now to amuse you, an interview with Mickey.

Me: So....Hi Mickey Finn

MF: Hi Mama! Are you gonna give me a Beggin Strip now?

Me: no, not yet you have to talk to me first.

MF: but.....Mama I'm adorable.

Me: yes you are sweetie, but first, what do you think of Daddy being in the military?

MF: he's in the military?

Me: mhm

MF: oh. well, I don't like that he goes away all day, because I like snuggling up with him. He also plays with me more, and can throw da ball farther which means I can run more.

Me: I can see how that's hard to deal with, anything else?

MF: I also don't like that Da Man likes guns so much. I get scared of the noise, it's very loud.

Me: I know Mickey, I'm not too fond of it either.

MF: can I have my Kong now?

Me: sure sweetie

MF: YAY!!!!!!!

(insert the jumping up and snatching the Kong here)

Well, there you have it, my Military Child. Thanks for being indulgent and letting me pretend that my dog actually talks to me lol.
